Back to Utah!
This Labor day weekend we went back up to Utah to get Stephanie settled into her apartment. We arrived at my parents late Friday night. Saturday we were able to get Stephanie settled and do a few last minute things for both of the girls, to get them on their way. Sending girls to college is alot of work, but we have a great system. Vanessa is in the dorms and Steph has an apartment. Then Sunday we went to my sisters in Pocatello, Idaho. We always have so much fun with them. We have girls the same age and have gone on alot of family trips together since the kids were young. I love being with my family and I love the fact that all the cousins are so close to each other. It is easy to let my girls go to school up there because I have the greatest family support for them. Monday we went to the Idaho fair, what a fun time!!.I ate so much and really enjoyed Ben's families food, they have a booth and Alex and Ben go every year to work it. The weekend went too fast and we had to say good bye again. I am sure it won't be long and we will be up there again. Thanks to the family for all the good times and for all your hospitality, I have not had that much food in my entire life, but I would...will do it again!!!

College bound!!!
What a week!!! Scott and I drove our girls to college this past Thursday. We took 2 cars, 2 daughters, 20 bags of clothes, and all that other stuff you NEED at school. We left Thursday morning, got Vanessa moved in by Friday, Saturday we went to a family baby shower, and Sunday attended the Oakerville temple dedication!! The rest of the time I spent with family but mainly at Walmart, Sam's Club, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Staples. I loved being with the girls as they settled into this new experience. I will miss them, but realize that they will have an awesome year. Vanessa has some great roommates and Stephanie has a lot of good friends from her freshman year so it should be fun! Good luck to both of you and be wise in all your choices! We will miss you tons! P.S. We have to go back up in ten days to move Stephanie in her apartment because it was not ready for move in just yet!! Thanks mom and dad for letting her stay at your place until then, we love the fact that you are so close to our girls!

Vanessa is 18!
August 8th was Vanessa's birthday. I am so sad she has grown up so fast and is leaving for college in 2 weeks. I will miss her and Stephanie but I know they will have a great time, she is lucky to have her sister there because she is such a family girl. Vanessa is such a joy to have as a daughter, she is such a good girl and makes Scott and I so proud . We want her to go and have a great time being a college girl! It will be a very exciting time for her and will bring her a lot of fun experiences ( I look forward to hearing all about it). For her birthday the girls got their nails done, she opened presents, then we had her birthday dinner at Dario's, her favorite and an ice cream cake for dessert again her favorite. It was such a wonderful day! We love you Nessa!!!!!!
Hawaii Again!
These past two weeks we were in Hawaii for a much needed family vacation. We went to Maui our favorite place to go. We have been taking this trip every summer for the last 8 years and it never gets old. Hawaii is so relaxing and we love just spending time together with no outside distractions. We stay at the Grand Wailea, the grounds are beautiful, the pool is amazing and the beach is one of the best. We enjoy relaxing poolside & at the beach during the day and eating delicious dinners by night. It's such a good time to have a lot of conversation and a lot of laughs. The hotel has an amazing spa we enjoyed a few times this trip. Thanks to my husband for providing us with such an awesome vacation, and thanks to my kids for making it all so much fun. Lets do it again next year!
Love~
