Viva Las Vegas!

So for the girls spring break this year we weren't able to get away with Scott' work and Maddie's school, however we did manage to jet away for the weekend. My parents were going to be in Vegas for the WAC tournament and the girls and I have been dying to see LOVE. So we took off.

Scott's Clients own the Palms Hotel and were kind enough to set us up in the Penthouse for the weekend. 

The girls went to LOVE while the men went to the games. The show was AMAZING! 

Since it was Alex's 25th birthday on the 11th we decided to fly Alex, Ben, and Felicity out to join us

We all had such a wonderful time. I LOVE having my family altogether and I cant wait for our next adventure.

Crash Landing!

Spur of the moment we decided to go pick up the girls in Logan and fly up to our Montana Cabin. When we called the girls they were all for it and immediately began calling anyone and everyone. Maddie couldn't come so Scott and I flew up to Logan and hit an unexpected snow storm. We landed to find Stephanie and Vanessa, their friend Natalie, my niece Whitney and her husband Dustin and my sister Dana! We were all so excited for our spontaneous little adventure. We all climbed on board despite the snow and we were ready to go.

Little did we know... 

we would slide 60 feet off the runway!!!

Yes thats right we crashed!! Everyone was so nervous and couldn't believe what had happened. We were about to lift off when the plane started rocking and sliding. We finally came to a stop and we were all taken off the plane. We didn't make it to Montana but we were all just lucky and happy to have our feet on the ground. We still got to spend the weekend in Logan with our daughters which is always a treat. Amidst all the madness Vanessa just so happened to be videoing the take off. Pretty crazy!

Madeline got asked to her first High School dance by her darling friend Nick. She is very excited! I can't  believe she is so grown up. 

The big day has arrived. Steph and Alex were able to come out for the weekend to help get her ready. They assisted with the hair, makeup and picture taking. She looked beautiful!!
