Springbreak 2011!

This is the second week of spring break that we got to have this year. Stephanie and Vanessa were home from college a few weeks ago and then this week Maddie had her break! We had the awesome opportunity to go to Houston Texas to attend the Final Four! My mom and dad go every year and last year Scott took Ben, but this year he could not go so Maddie and I decided to see what all the fuss was about. The 4 teams were UCON, BUTLER, KENTUCKY, and VCU! It was a lot of fun and we really got into the spirit of the entire weekend.

Game Day 1 

President and Barbara Bush were in attendance as well as Dennis Rodman and sat just in front of Maddie and her friend Caitlin who got to come along.

Scott and I were in some prime seats center court and 10 rows back! 

Alex, Vanessa and Ben spotted us on TV. They enjoyed playing Where's Waldo?

Game Day 2 

We were cheering for Butler but in the end UCON won! 

It was all so much fun and something we would like to do again! After the games were all over, we headed off to see Felicity, Ben and Alex! That is always so much fun and I can never get enough of my grand baby! We were lucky to have Vanessa join us in Minnesota  because her elementary  class that she assists in was on spring break as well.  We missed Stephanie but she is carrying 21 credits and is such an awesome student.

One of the days we went to an indoor trampoline park. It was lots of fun. 

While we were there we had an early birthday for Ben! We love him and we are so proud of his hard work! I love being able to be with my kids and spend time just playing with Felicity!
