Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all! We got home in time to have Easter with the family.Saturday we shopped for dresses,I always get my girls new dresses for church, and the men new ties.  Easter Sunday we got up and went to church. Everyone looked so nice and I wanted to get a picture but no one else wanted one, so there is no picture. Bill and Christiann had us over for an incredible dinner, it was all low key and enjoyable. We were able to concentrate on the true meaning of Easter, the resurrection of our Savior ,which I am eternally grateful for. I am also grateful for my wonderful family.

Ben's big day!

Even though his birthday was the 14th, I just want to say... Happy Birthday Ben!!!!! We are so glad you are part of our  family, you always add so much. Alex is lucky to have you and so are we!! Springbreak in Cabo!!

For Spring Break took off to Cabo! We stayed at the most incredible resort ever, The One and Only Palmilla! The place was amazing from the scenery to the service, rooms, beach and pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our time sunning, eating, and sleeping, that's pretty much exactly what we did the entire time. This is the kind of vacation I love. Thanks to my great husband who never disappoints us when he plans our vacations we all had a wonderful time! I love every chance I get to spend time with my family and just relax. However there were two things missing, Alex and Ben. :( They are experiencing the pains of growing up, they had to stay home for school and work. But no worries, we will take them soon! If you ever go to Cabo the One and Only Palmilla is the ONLY place to be!!!!!

David Archuleta!

This past Tuesday, St. Patricks Day we went to a David Archuleta concert! I knew he was planning a tour so I found out when he was coming to California and had my amazing Dad get us all tickets. My Dad didn't want to go so it was the 7 of us plus Steph brought Josh and I brought my friend Allie for her 18th birthday even though it was really more for me! He only had one show here and it was in Pomona at The Glasshouse which is a little hole in the wall but I didn't care where I had to go, I was determined to see David. The concert started at 7 so we left around  3 to go down and have dinner before the concert. Not thinking every teenage girl loves him almost as much as I do, we arrived at about 6:30 and there was a line that went around corner after corner of people waiting for the doors to open. We were one of the last people in line but it was okay because once we got inside we were so close it was amazing. Lesley Roy was his opening act and none of us really knew who she was but she wasn't very good which made us that much more excited for David. When he first came out on stage I was so excited I could hardly stand it. We saw him on the Idol tour last summer but he looked ten times cuter than before and believe it or not he is better live than he is on his cd and that is pretty rare. He sang almost all of his songs, a couple new ones, and some of his favorite songs of all time. Each song was better then the last, every note was flawless and he moved  so cute up on stage! I was in aww the entire time and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. I was so sad when it was over but it was the BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!! :] Thanks again Dad for getting me the tickets and to mom and everyone else for coming with me! One day I will be MRS. VANESSA ARCHULETA, it just sounds right!

SCOTT IS 50!!

Tomorrow is a big day at our house,Scott will turn 50! There will be alot of jokes cracked about him being over the hill again, the first time was at 40! But I want to let him know how much I love him, choosing him as my eternal companion all these years later has proven to be  the best decision I made. He is an incredible husband, a very patient father and a great friend. So for the big day he has decided to take me to Hawaii for 10 days(see what I mean) I get to benefit from him growing old. I know he wont see this because he doesnt know how to look at bloggs, but I have proof that I did say nice things about him when he turned 50! I love you Scott!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!. Lisa
